Belinda Allan, HIS

My name is Belinda Allan. I was born and raised in Amarillo, TX and have been a resident of Topeka, KS since 1998. My childhood dream was to be a mother. Each of my three children has helped complete a part of me.

My oldest daughter, Tiffany, is married and has given me four beautiful grandkids. Of course, I am completely amazed at how much love I have for each one of these blessings I have been given. Tiffany is the Office Manager for NuSound. Marissa, my middle child, agreed to return home from Nashville, TN in 2012 to help me found NuSound but now works from home doing her own social media and marketing business. Bryne, my youngest, is our Doctor of Audiology. His medical expertise is so valuable to our office. You can call him Dr. Bryne, but, to me, he is still my “Bubba”.

My children all stood by my side in October of 2021 as I said “I do” to Mr. Jim Allan. He asked each child and grandchild for my hand in marriage. We are enjoying this season of our lives and are so thankful we have a God that loves us so much to blend our families together.

I believe we are each put on this earth to help one another. NuSound has given me a platform to educate about hearing and tinnitus but most importantly, an opportunity to improve lives. At NuSound, we strive to exceed all of our patient’s expectations and work toward making everyone feel a part of our family.

Byrne Gonzales, Au.D.

Doctor of Audiology

Hello! My name is Dr. Bryne Gonzales, AuD. I have provided Audiology services at NuSound since 2018 (including wax cleaning and tinnitus consultations).

I was born in Amarillo, TX and raised in Topeka, KS, where I attended Washburn Rural HS. After graduating high school, I received a Bachelor of Arts from KU and a Doctorate of Audiology from KU Medical Center. I completed my education with a residency year in Fort Collins, CO.

I currently reside in Lawrence, KS. When I am not at work you can find me taking walks through the beautiful fall trees with my fiance, Morgan, and our adorable (slightly overweight) beagle, Gamble. Some of my other hobbies include lifting weights and watching football – Go Cowboys and Chiefs!

Megan Kirkwood, HIS

Hearing Instrument Specialist

Hello! My name is Megan Kirkwood. I was born and raised in Topeka, Kansas and am a proud graduate of Topeka West High School. Go Chargers!

I’ve been with NuSound Hearing and Tinnitus Center since 2014 and am a licensed Dispenser and Fitter of Hearing Aids with the State of Kansas.

When not at work, I am doing my favorite job of being “mom.” I have two daughters, Makenzie and Preslee. We stay busy with all of their high school activities, boyfriends, jobs and more. They are both growing quicker than I care to admit and so I am soaking it all up while I can.

I am looking forward to welcoming each of you to the NuSound Family!

Becca Prescott

Hello! My name is Becca. I was born and raised in Lawrence, KS and attended White City High School.

I am married to the love of my life, Austin, and we have five kids with the youngest still in the toddler stage. As you can imagine, our days are filled with every conceivable kid activity. We tease one another that sometimes our greatest accomplishment of the day is getting to where we need to be on time.

As a mom, there is little free time so if I happen to find a minute, you will find me with my feet up and enjoying the quiet.

I can’t wait to be the first to smile at you when you walk into NuSound!

Tiffany Watkins

Hello! My name is Tiffany Watkins. I was born and raised in Amarillo, TX and will never apologize for supporting my TX Longhorns and Dallas Cowboys. In fact, you’ll often find me dressed in my favorite sports team’s attire.

I am married and a mom of three boys. My two oldest, Kyler and Karsyn, are grown men, living their own adventures and making this momma more proud than I could have ever dreamed. Our youngest, Austyn, is the family comedian and loves his sports as much as his momma. He currently has found a love for racing and declares he will be a F1 race car driver – oh my heart.

When not busy at NuSound or being a momma, I enjoy music, traveling (ask me about my love for Disney), jigsaw puzzles and sitting at our pool with family and friends.

If you have insurance, I will be the one filing the claims and ensuring that your benefits get to you. I can’t wait to meet you!
